This looks like Bait-and-Switch. This is clearly a result of VZA failing to plan for adequate bandwidth to accomodate the new usage. I fault Apple on this one also. They should not agree to a partnership unless the 'partner' has the capacity to provide a full iPhone experience. And if you are getting choked at the carrier service router level, then you may as well get an Android.
It's great that iphone never stops to crate new applications which are silly and entertaining. The thing about application is that the crazier it seems, the funnier it is to play with.
